Ariana Grande has joined the cast of the thirteenth season of the long-running FX horror anthology series "American Horror Story" created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The new season will feature the return of several franchise regulars: Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe and Leslie Grossman.
The new cast was announced via Ryan Murphy Productions' Instagram page. This marks Grande's first television acting role since 2015's "Scream Queens", which was also created by Murphy and Falchuk. For Lange, Bassett, Bates and Sidibe, this will be their first appearance in the show since Season 8 (2018's "Apocalypse"). Peters and Paulson last appeared in Season 10 (2021's "Double Feature").
No plot details are available, although fans have been speculating that the return of so many past stars could mean that the new season might be connected to a story from a previous season. "American Horror Story" Season 13 is set to release next Halloween, October 31, 2026. The title has not been revealed.
Season 12 was titled "Delicate" and concluded last year. It starred Kim Kardashian, Matt Czuchry, Annabelle Dexter-Jones and Cara Delevingne. 20th Television produces "American Horror Story".
