The third season of Netflix's live-action "One Piece" series is officially in production in Cape Town, South Africa. The show was renewed for a third season ahead of the Season 2 premiere, which is set for March 10, 2026.

Returning cast members include Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, and Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday.

Season 2 cast members Mikaela Hoover (Chopper), Joe Manganiello (Mr. 0), Lera Abova (Miss All Sunday) and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Nefartari Cobra) have been promoted to series regular status for the third season.

Season 2 is titled "One Piece: Into the Grand Line" and it will premiere on March 10, 2026. Here is the official Season 2 synopsis:
"Netflix’s epic high-seas pirate adventure, ‘One Piece,’ returns for Season 2—unleashing fiercer adversaries and the most perilous quests yet. Luffy (Godoy) and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line—a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies."

The show is created in partnership with Shueisha and is produced by Tomorrow Studios (an ITV Studios partner) and Netflix. Matt Owens and Joe Tracz serve as co-showrunners, writers and executive producers of Season 2, with Tracz teaming with Ian Stokes on Season 3.

Additional executive producers include Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements through Tomorrow Studios, Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, Christoph Schrewe and Steven Maeda.
