Independent Spirit Awards 2025 Winners - Complete List


The winners of the 40th anniversary Film Independent Spirit Awards have been announced during a ceremony hosted by Aidy Bryant. "Anora" was the big winner, taking home the trophies for Best Feature, Director (Sean Baker) and Lead Performance (Mikey Madison).

The dramedy "A Real Pain" won two awards, for Best Screenplay (Jesse Eisenberg) and Supporting Performance (Kieran Culkin). Sean Wang's coming-of-age dramedy "Didi" also scored two wins: Best First Feature and First Screenplay.

In the television categories, Netflix's "Baby Reindeer" scored three awards for Lead Performance in a New Scripted Series (Richard Gadd), Breakthrough Performance (Jessica Gunning) and Supporting Performance (Nava Mau). FX's "Shōgun" won Best New Scripted Series.
