"Dog Man" remains at No. 1 with $13.8 million, but its sophomore weekend drop was a massive 61.6%, which isn't so great. The film has now grossed $54.2 million in North America, and another $12 million from foreign markets, which adds up to $66.2 million worldwide.
Sony's "Heart Eyes" opened in second place with a modest $8.3 million from 3,102 theaters. On a positive note, the film only cost $18 million to produce. The film received positive reviews from critics (80% on Rotten Tomatoes), but the audience reception was lacklustre ("B-" CinemaScore).
