Netflix has a new "Knives Out" movie in development, titled "Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery", and it's already rounding out its cast. The first to join was Daniel Craig, who will reprise the role of world-famous detective Benoit Blanc, and he will be joined by Josh O'Connor ("Challengers", "The Crown") and Cailee Spaeny ("Priscilla", "Civil War").
Plot details for the third installment are being kept under wraps. Rian Johnson is returning to direct from a script he wrote, and will also produce with his partner, Ram Bergman through T-Street Pictures. The film is set to go into production next month and will be released sometime in 2025.
O'Connor will next be seen starring in "The History of Sound" opposite Paul Mescal. Spaeny is also set to star in 20th Century's latest "Alien" movie, "Alien: Romulus".
