Aaron Eckhart And Devon Sawa Join Crime Thriller Thieves Highway

Aaron Eckhart ("The Dark Knight", "Sully") and Devon Sawa ("Final Destination", "Chucky" series) are set to star in the upcoming crime thriller "Thieves Highway". The film is directed by Jesse V. Johnson ("Chief of Station") from a script by Travis Mills

Eckhart plays an Oklahoma Stock Detective in over his head in the "Breaking Bad" world of modern cattle rustling. Eckhart and Johnson previously collaborated on Vertical's "Chief of Station" which is currently in theaters and streaming.

Executive producers are Kirk Shaw ("The Hurt Locker", "Extraction"), Jordan Nott ("Assassination") and Jon Keeyes ("White Elephant"). Corey Large is producing through his 308 Enterprises banner. BondIt Media Capital and Pink 308 will finance the production. Red Sea Media will be handling international sales and will debut the film for buyers at the Marché du Film in Cannes.

Ex-stuntman, Johnson (Avengement, Debt Collectors, Boudica: Queens of War), who has built a solid reputation and a loyal following for hand-crafted character driven action films, says:
""Thieves Highway" is a passion project, for Aaron and me. We spent a lot of time developing Travis Mills' script, embracing factual anecdotes and actual characters to flesh out a vibrant and action-packed modern crime story."
Large also commented the following:
"Aaron is creating a unique brand starring in high-quality genre pictures, joining the likes of Liam Neeson and Mel Gibson, and we are excited to be part of enhancing that profile with 'THIEVES HIGHWAY'. Jesse's background in stunts ensures that audiences will experience the story as though they are in the middle of the action."
