Ryan Reynolds Joins Dwayne Johnson's RED NOTICE, Which Moves From Universal to Netflix

Ryan Reynolds Joins Dwayne Johnson's RED NOTICE, Which Moves From Universal to Netflix
As revealed by an unnamed insider source, the upcoming heist thriller "Red Notice", which stars Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot, has moved from Universal Pictures to Netflix. The film was initially acquired by Universal and Legendary in a fierce bidding war, and the deal also carried a career-best paycheck of $22 million for Johnson.

According to these reports, it also seems that "Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds has joined the cast. The film will be directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber ("Central Intelligence", "Skyscraper"), and it stars Johnson as an Interpol agent tasked with capturing the most-wanted art thief in the world.

Production is set to begin in various locations in 2020. Beau Flynn, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia and Scott Sheldon are on board as producers. The film's release date had initially been set for June 12, 2020, and later pushed to November 13, 2020.

This is Reynolds' second collaboration with Netflix. He also stars in the Michael Bay-directed "6 Underground".
