Emily Blunt in Talks to Star in Memoir Adaptation NOT FADE AWAY

Emily Blunt in Talks to Star in Memoir Adaptation NOT FADE AWAY
"Mary Poppins Returns" and "A Quiet Place" star Emily Blunt is in talks to star in Annapurna's drama "Not Fade Away", based on the 2015 memoir "Not Fade Away: A Memoir of Senses Lost and Found" by Rebecca Alexander.

Alexander was diagnosed with a rare genetic mutation called Usher syndrome type III at birth. Starting in her childhood, Alexander slowly started losing both her sight and hearing, and was expected to go completely blind and deaf by age 30. But Alexander overcame her condition, as well as a devastating fall at age 18 that left her body shattered, to become a decorated psychotherapist and athlete.

The film will be produced by David O. Russell and John Krasinski, and the screenplay will be penned by Lindsey Ferrentino. There is currently no director attached to the project.

Blunt is also attached to star in the sequel to 2018's "A Quiet Place", with Krasinski returning to direct. She can also be seen in Disney's "Jungle Cruise" alongside Dwayne Johnson.
