The winners of the 2019 Sundance Film Festival awards have been announced. In U.S. dramatic competition, African-American filmmaker Chinonye Chukwu won for the prison drama "Clemency" starring Alfre Woodard. In the World Cinema Dramatic Category, Joanna Hogg's "The Souvenir" took home the Grand Jury Prize. In U.S. Documentary, top honors went to Nanfu Wang and Jialing Zhang's "One Child Nation", which explores China's infamous population-control policy through co-director Wang's family, while in the World Documentary category, "Honeyland" won no less than three prizes.
