Denzel Washington to Star in Cop Thriller LITTLE THINGS

Denzel Washington
Denzel Washington is in talks to star in the thriller "Little Things" for Warner Bros. The film will be written by "The Blind Side" director John Lee Hancock, who is also being considered to direct.

If negotiations end well, Washington will star as a burned-out Kern County deputy sheriff named Deke, who teams up with an LA County Sheriff's Department detective named Baxter, to reel in a wily serial killer. Deke has the ability to spot the "little things", but he is willing to break the rules, which embroils Baxter in a soul-shattering dilemma.

Washington is also set to direct the biopic "Journal for Jordan" for Sony Pictures. The film is based on Pulitzer-winning journalist Dana Cadendy's bestselling memoir, and Oscar-nominated "Mudbound" scribe Virgil Williams wrote the script. Michael B. Jordan is on board to produce and in talks to star.
