Anne Hathaway ("Les Miserables") and Tim Robbins ("Shawshank Redemption" are set to star in "Far From Heaven" filmmaker Todd Haynes' upcoming drama about the chemical company DuPont.
Titled "Dry Run", the film tells the story of Cincinnati attorney Robert Bilott, played by Mark Ruffalo, who had been practicing as a corporate defense attorney for eight years when he took on an environmental lawsuit against the chemical company DuPont. The suit turned into a battle exposing a decades-long history of chemical pollution.
There are no details available regarding Hathaway and Robbins' characters. The cast will also feature Bill Camp, Victor Garber, Mare Winningham, William Jackson Harper and Bill Pullman. The script has been penned by Mario Correa and "House of Lies" creator Matthew Carnahan, based on the New York Times Magazine article "The Lawyer Who Became DuPont's Worst Nightmare" from Nathaniel Rich.
Filming will begin on Monday in Cincinnati.
