Al Pacino Set to Join Jordan Peele's THE HUNT at Amazon

Oscar and Emmy winner Al Pacino is nearing a deal to to star in his first series regular-role in Amazon's Nazi hunter drama series "The Hunt".

Created by David Weil ("Moonfall") and produced by Jordan Peele ("Get Out"), the 10-episode series follows a band of Nazi hunters in New York City circa 1977 who discover that hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials have made a home in the U.S. and are scheming to create a Fourth Reich there. Of course, they set out to stop them.

The cast also includes Logan Lerman ("Percy Jackson") who will play Jonah Heidelbaum, who finds himself swept up in the mysterious organization known as The Hunt when a mysterious assailant kills his grandmother, and Pacino's character acts as his mentor. "24: Legacy" producer Nikki Toscano will act as showrunner.

Pacino can next be seen in Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" and Martin Scorsese's "The Irishman".
