RUN THE RACE (2019) - Trailers, Clips, Featurette, Images and Poster

"Run the Race" is a faith-based drama directed by Chris Dowling ("Priceless") from a script by Dowling, Jake McEntire ("Red Wing") and Jason Baumgardner ("Samson").

The story follows two desperate brothers, played by Tanner Stine and Evan Hofer, who use football and track as ways to cope with their mother's death and their father's abandonment. When one of the brothers suffers an injury that puts his dreams on the sidelines, the other one must race to salvage their future. The cast also includes Kristoffer Polaha, Kelsey Reinhardt, Mario Van Peebles, Mykelti Williamson and Frances Fisher.

"Run the Race" opened in theaters on February 22, 2019 and received mixed-to-negative reviews from critics. It finished in 10th place at the box-office with $2.3 million in its opening weekend.

BETTER THINGS Season 3 Trailer, Promos, Featurette, Images and Posters

The third season of the dramedy series "Better Things" is set to premiere tonight, February 28, 2019 on FX at 10p. Created by Pamela Adlon and Louis C.K., the show stars Adlon as an actress who struggles with raising her three daughters while juggling the pressures of working in Hollywood. The new season will feature appearances by Matthew Broderick, Sharon Stone, Judy Reyes, and Doug Jones. All 12 episodes are directed by Adlon.

Chris Hemsworth to Play Hulk Hogan in Biopic

"Thor" star Chris Hemsworth is set to star as wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan in a biopic directed by Todd Phillips ("The Hangover"). The script will be written by Scott Silver ("The Fighter") and John Pollono ("Stronger"). Phillips and Silver are also working together on the upcoming DC Comics movie "The Joker".

The film will chronicle Hogan's early wrestling career, and it has been reported that it won't focus on any personal struggles, but it will be an origin story about the rise of Hulkmania and his work in WWF.

Terry Gene Bollea aka Hulk Hogan started his career in the 1970s and peaked during the 1980s. He often appeared on magazine covers and talk shows, was involved in films ("Rocky III", "Suburban Commando", "Gremlins 2", "Mr. Nanny"), endorsements and video games, and even headlined a Saturday morning cartoon. He is largely credited with popularizing the world of professional wrestling and bringing it to the forefront of American entertainment.

Negotiations with Netflix are nearly done, and the film will be produced by Academy Award winner Michael Sugar ("Spotlight"), Phillips and Bradley Cooper, as well as Hemsworth and former president of WCW Eric Bischoff. No release date has been set, yet.

THE CHANGEOVER Trailer, Clips, Featurette, Images and Posters

"The Changeover" is a supernatural thriller directed by Miranda Harcourt and Stuart McKenzie based on Margaret Mahy's novel of the same name.

The film tells the story of a sixteen year-old girl (Erana James) with supernatural abilities, who is drawn into a supernatural battle with an ancient spirit (Timothy Spall) that has possessed her four-year-old brother (Benji Purchase) and is draining the life out of him. Melanie Lynskey, Lucy Lawless, Nicholas Galitzine and Kate Harcourt co-star.

"The Changeover" was released in September 2017 in New Zealand, and opened in select theaters in the U.S. on February 22, 2019.

WHISKEY CAVALIER Series Trailer, Promos, Clip, Images and Poster

"Whiskey Cavalier" is a new hourlong action comedy series created by Dave Hemingson ("The Catch") and produced by Bill Lawrence ("Scrubs"). The show follows FBI agent Will Chase (Scott Foley and his new partner, CIA operative Francesca Trowbridge (Lauren Cohan), who lead an inter-agency team of spies who periodically save the world while navigating the rocky roads of friendship, romance and office politics. The cast also includes Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Josh Hopkins and Vir Das.

"Whiskey Cavalier" premiered on February 27, 2019 on ABC after a sneak peek of the first episode aired on February 24th.

Trailer, Clip, Images and Poster for O.G. (2018) Starring Jeffrey Wright

"O.G." is a prison drama directed by documentary filmmaker Madeleine Sackler ("Dangerous Acts Starring the Unstable Elements of Belarus") from a script by Stephen Belber ("Management").

The film stars Jeffrey Wright ("Angels in America") as a maximum-security prison inmate weeks away from the end of his 24-year jail sentence, who must decide between protecting himself and helping new inmate Beecher (Theothus Carter) adjust to prison life. The film was shot with actual inmates and staff in the Pendleton Correctional Facility in Indiana. William Fichtner, Boyd Holbrook, Mare Winningham, Yul Vazquez and David Patrick Kelly co-star.

"O.G." premiered on February 23, 2019 on HBO and received mostly positive reviews from critics.

Oscar Winners 2019: The Complete List

The Oscars have come and gone. As in previous years, the Academy focused on rewarding and celebrating diversity, while the show itself, its first without a host, was probably the most economical and well-paced in a very long time. It was also somewhat dull and uneventful, with the occasional cringe-inducing moment, but generally headed in the right direction. The Academy also made the effort to give every single one of the eight Best Picture nominees a win this year, something that also happened only once before, in 2015.

In such a divisive year it was "Green Book" that took home the Best Picture trophy, as well as Best Original Screenplay and Supporting Actor (Mahershala Ali). Alfonso Cuaron's Netflix drama "Roma" also won three trophies for Best Foreign Language Film, Directing and Cinematography. The Queen biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody" won the most awards of the night with three technical categories (Editing, Sound Editing and Sound Mixing) and a big one for Leading Actor (Rami Malek).

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the evening, Olivia Colman won Leading Actress for her role in "The Favourite", beating out 7-time Oscar nominee Glenn Close. In the Supporting Actress, things went pretty much as expected, with Regina King winning for her performance in "If Beale Street Could Talk".

Independent Spirit Awards 2019: Complete Winners List

The winners of the 34th Annual Independent Spirit Awards have been announced. The ceremony was hosted by Aubrey Plaza on Saturday in a tent on the beach in Santa Monica, California. The big winner was "If Beale Street Could Talk", with three trophies for Best Feature, Director (Barry Jenkins) and Supporting Female (Regina King). Ethan Hawke, Glenn Close and Richard E. Grant won in the remaining acting categories.

The animated threequel "How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World" opened in theaters with a franchise record and ended the box-office drought that has plagued the first two months of 2019. Also, the wrestling biopic "Fighting With my Family" expanded nationwide and performed relatively well.
