Jennifer Garner and J.J. Abrams Reunite for Apple Limited Series

Jennifer Garner and J.J. Abrams Reunite for Apple Limited Series
Jennifer Garner is set to reunite with her "Alias" creator J.J. Abrams for the limited series "My Glory Was I Had Such Friends", which has received a straight-to-series order from Apple.

The drama is based on the 2017 memoir of the same name written by Amy Silverstein, which showcases the power of friendship and the resilience of the human spirit as it follows an extraordinary group of women who supported Silverstein as she waited for a second life-saving heart transplant.

The series is written and executive produced by Karen Croner, who also penned the adaptation of "The Tribes of Palos Verdes" that starred Garner and Maika Monroe. Abrams' Bad Robot acquired the memoir in 2017, shortly after its release.

Abrams is also developing the 10-episode half-hour dramedy "Little Voice" starring Sara Bareilles. He has also created the sci-fi drama series "Demimonde" for HBO, the first series solely created by him since "Alias".

Garner recently returned to television with a starring role in HBO's comedy series "Camping". She has also lent her voice to the animated feature "Wonder Park", which will be released in 2019, and has signed on to star in Netflix's comedy "Yes Day" based on Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Tom Lichtenheld's children's book of the same name.
