Jeremy Allen White in Talks to Star in Bruce Springsteen Biopic DELIVER ME FROM NOWHERE
Emmy-award winning "The Bear" and "The Iron Claw" star Jeremy Allen White is in negotiations to star in "Deliver Me From Nowhere" a biopic that follows the making of Bruce Springsteen's 1982 album "Nebraska".

The film is based on the 2023 book of the same name by Warren Zanes and is adapted by Scott Cooper ("Crazy Heart", "Black Mass"), who also plans to direct. "Nebraska" was a dark, stripped-down collection of songs that marked a new artistic direction for the legendary rocker. Springsteen recorded the album on four-track cassette in his New Jersey bedroom a few years before he and the E Street Band would release "Born in the U.S.A".

Gotham Group is behind the project, with Eric Robinson and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein set to produce. Former Netflix film head Scott Stuber is also involved in the screen version of "Deliver Me From Nowhere". Springsteen and his manager Jon Landau are actively involved in the project.

White recently won a Golden Globe, Emmy and SAG Award for the leading role in FX's dramedy "The Bear", and is currently filming the third and fourth seasons in Chicago.
