Jennifer Garner is set to star in Apple TV's upcoming limited series "The Last Thing He Told Me" which hails from Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine. Garner will replace Julia Roberts who had to exit the project due to scheduling conflicts.
The miniseries is an adaptation of the New York Times bestseller of the same name by Laura Dave. Created and written by Dave and Oscar winner Josh Singer ("Spotlight"), the adaptation follows a woman (Garner) who forms an unexpected relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter while searching for the truth about why her husband has mysteriously disappeared.
This marks the second Apple TV+ limited series Garner is headlining and executive producing, alongside an adaptation of Amy Silverstein's memoir "My Glory Was I Had Such Friends" which is being developed by J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot.
Garner will next star in the sci-fi film "The Adam Project" opposite Ryan Reynolds, Zoe Saldana and Mark Ruffalo. She is also set to star in and produce the comedy "Family Leave" inspired by Amy Krouse Rosenthal's book "Bedtime for Mommy".
