Independent Spirit Awards 2021 Winners: NOMADLAND Scores Four Wins Including Best Feature

Nomandland 2021 Independent Spirit Awards Winner

The winners of the 36th annual Film Independent Spirit Awards have been revealed, and "Nomadland" is the big winner, taking home four trophies, including Best Feature, Director (Chloe Zhao), Editing and Cinematography. "Sound of Metal" also won top honors, nabbing three awards for Lead Actor (Riz Ahmed), Supporting Actor (Paul Raci) and Best First Feature for director Darius Marder. Searchlight, Amazon Studios and Netflix tied for the most wins by distributor on the night with four apiece.
