Warner Bros has made an announcement that filming has begun on Christopher Nolan's new film, and we now know its official title: "Tenet". The studio has also revealed that Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh have been added to the cast that already included John David Washington, Robert Pattinson and Elizabeth Debicki.
The film will be shot on location across seven countries and has been described as "an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage". Nolan will use a combination of IMAX and 70mm film. The production team includes director of photography Hoyte van Hoytema ("Dunkirk", "Interstellar"), production designer Nathan Crowley ("The Dark Knight", "First Man"), film editor Jennifer Lane, costume designer Jeffrey Kurland ("Inception"), visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson, and composer Ludwig Goransson ("Black Panther").
Nolan and Emma Thomas are producing, with Thomas Hayslip on board as executive producer. "Tenet" will open in theaters on July 17, 2020.
