"Polar" is a neo-noir action film directed by Jonas Akerlund ("Lords of Chaos") from a script written by Jayson Rothwell ("Malice in Wonderland") based on Victor Santos' Dark Horse graphic novel "Polar: Came From the Cold".

The film stars Mads Mikkelsen as Duncan Vizla, the world's top assassin who is settling into retirement when his former employer marks him as a liability to the firm and forces him back in the game. Vanessa Hudgens, Katheryn Winnick, Matt Lucas, Johnny Knoxville, Richard Dreyfuss and Ruby O. Fee co-star.

"Polar" has premiered on January 25, 2019 via Netflix. The film has received almost universally negative reviews from critics.
