The fifth season of the comedy series "Grace and Frankie" has premiered on January 18, 2019 via Netflix. Created by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris, the show stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as the titular characters and unlikely friends, who are brought together when their husbands (Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen) announce that they are in love with each other and plan to get married. The cast also includes Brooklyn Decker, June Diane Raphael, Ethan Embry and Baron Vaughn.

"Grace and Frankie" has been renewed for a sixth season.
