"The Kid Who Would Be King" is a fantasy adventure film written and directed by Joe Cornish.

The film tells the story of a young boy, played by Louis Ashbourne Serkis (son of "Lord of the Rings" and "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" actor Andy Serkis), who finds King Arthur's legendary sword Excalibur, and discovers that he must unite his friends and enmies into a band of knights in order to stop wicked enchantress Morgana (Rebecca Ferguson). Angus Imrie, Dean Chaumoo, Rhianna Doris, Genevieve O'Reilly and Patrick Stewart co-star.

"The Kid Who Would Be King" opened in theaters on January 25, 2019 in the U.S. and received mostly positive reviews from critics. It will be released in the U.K. on February 15, 2019.
