"Brexit: The Uncivil War" is a television drama directed by Toby Haynes ("Sherlock", "Black Mirror") from a script by James Graham ("A Brilliant Young Mind").

The film chronicles the behind-the-scenes events that led up to the infamous 2016 referendum that resulted in the United Kingdom exiting the European Union, also known as Brexit. Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Dominic Cummings, the political strategist who masterminded the Vote Leave campaign using tactics that changed the way elections unfold in this digital age. Rory Kinnear, Lee Boardman, Richard Goulding, John Heffernan and Lucy Russell co-star.

"Brexit: The Uncivil War" premiered on Channel 4 in the U.K. on January 7, 2019, and on HBO in the U.S. on January 19th.
