The fourth season of the fantasy series "The Magicians" has premiered on January 23, 2019 on Syfy. Created by Sera Gamble and John McNamara based on the novel of the same name by Lev Grossman, the series follows a group of students recruited to a secretive academy, who discover that magic is real. The cast features Jason Ralph, Stella Maeve, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Hale Appleman, Arjun Gupta, Summer Bishil, Jade Tailor, Brittany Curran and Trevor Einhorn.

"Based upon Lev Grossman's best-selling books, The Magicians centers around Brakebills University, a secret institution specializing in magic.
