NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: SECRET OF THE TOMB Trailer and Poster: Ben Stiller Brings London's British Museum to Life

The first trailer and poster for the sequel "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb" have been released. The sequel finds night security guard Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) embarking on a new adventure which involves museums coming alive. This time, it's the British Museum in London where he must uncover the secret behind the artifact that is responsible for all the magic. The cast will include old and new characters who will be played by Rebel Wilson, Robin Williams, Dan Stevens, Ben Kingsley, Ricky Gervais, Rami Malek, Steve Coogan, Owen Wilson, Patrick Gallagher, Mizuo Peck, Bill Cobbs, Dick Van Dyke and Mickey Rooney. I really enjoyed the first film, but the second was a total disappointment. I hope this third installment can bring back some of the magic of the original.

"Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb" opens in theaters on December 19th.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Character Featurettes: Meet Peter Quill, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, Groot and Nebula

A batch of new character featurettes have been released for Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy". The behind-the-scenes videos offer some insight into the film's main characters: Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Groot (Vin Diesel) and Nebula (Karen Gillan). Directed by James Gunn, the film also stars Benicio Del Toro, Lee Pace, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Michael Rooker, Djimon Hounsou, Josh Brolin and Peter Serafinowicz.

"Guardians of the Galaxy" opens in theaters on August 1st (in 3D).

THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES Trailer, Posters and Images

Warner Bros. has released the first official trailer for Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" along with two posters and five new images from the film. INTERSTELLAR Comic Con Trailer: First Space Mission Footage Revealed

The third trailer for Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar" has been released online (via Collider), after first being shown at this year's Comic Con. The trailer is like an extension to the previous one, expanding on the space mission footage and giving us a pretty good idea of the epic adventure Nolan has in store for us. The film stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck, Michael Caine, David Oyelowo, Wes Bentley, John Lithgow, Ellen Burstyn, Topher Grace, David Gyasi, Mackenzie Foy, Bill Irwin, Timothée Chalamet and Matt Damon.

"Interstellar" opens in theaters on November 7, 2014.

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD Trailer, Posters and Images Starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron

Warner Bros. has released a full barrage of publicity for the highly anticipated sequel/reboot "Mad Max: Fury Road", which includes the first official trailer and five new posters and images. Directed by George Miller, the post-apocalyptic actioner stars Tom Hardy as Max, a man seeking peace following the loss of his wife and child, who crosses paths with an elite Imperator, Furiosa (Charlize Theron) a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland. She is on the run from Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), from whom something irreplaceable has been taken and who ruthlessly pursues Furiosa and her band of rebels.

The film is supposedly one big chase scene from beginning to end and it no doubt looks determined to deliver on that promise. The film also stars Nicholas Hoult, Riley Keough, Zoe Kravitz, Courtney Eaton, Rosei Huntington-Whiteley, Nathan Jones and Abbey Lee Kershaw.

"Mad Max: Fury Road" opens in theaters on May 15, 2015.

HOT TUB TIME MACHINE 2 Red-Band Trailer: More Hot Fun Awaits in the Future

The first trailer for the comedy sequel "Hot Tub Time Machine 2" has been released. This is a red-band trailer, so it's not safe for work. Directed by Steve Pink, the new installment finds Clark Duke, Rob Corddry, Chevy Chase and Craig Robinson returning alongside newcomer Adam Scott for a new ridiculous R-rated adventure through time. The future, to be more exact.

"Hot Tub Time Machine 2" opens in theaters on December 25th.

THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY - PART 1 Teaser Trailer and Comic Con Poster

The first teaser trailer for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" that contains actual footage from the film has been released, along with a new poster that was unveiled at the Comic Con. The new trailer includes a first look at new characters Alma Coin (Julianne Moore) and Cressida (Natalie Dormer). The sequel is directed by Francis Lawrence and it also stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Jena Malone, Sam Claflin, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci and Philip Seymour Hoffman also star.

PREDESTINATION Trailer: Ethan Hawke Travels Through Time

The first trailer for the sci-fi thriller "Predestination" has been released. Directed by The Spierig Brothers ("Daybreakers") and based on Robert Heinlein's short story "All You Zombies", the film stars Ethan Hawke as a Temporal Agent sent on a final time-travelling mission to capture a criminal that has eluded him throughout time. Noah Taylor, Sarah Snook, Freya Stafford and Christopher Kirby also star. No release date announced.

Box-Office: Luc Besson's LUCY Overpowers Brett Ratner's HERCULES

This weekend is living proof that PG-13 big budget epics are no match for a good mid-budget R-rated action flick. The lesson of the week was offered by Luc Besson's sci-fi actioner "Lucy" starring Scarlett Johansson, which opened at the top of the box-office with an impressive $44 million versus a $40 million budget. Pretty far behind in second place, Brett Ratner's $100 million sword-and-sandal epic "Hercules" starring Dwayne Johnson only managed to gross $29 million for its first weekend, not really below expectations, but a difficult outcome for a movie this expensive. The film also grossed $28 million overseas, which sweetens the result a bit for Paramount.

This week's other wide opener, the romcom "And So It Goes" starring Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton finished eigth with $4.5 million, although the film was released on far less screens than the other wide releases.

First BATMAN V SUPERMAN Image of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman

At this year's Comic-Con, Warner Bros. unveiled a new image for Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". The image offers a first look at Gal Gadot ("Fast & Furious 6") as Wonder Woman. Unlike the Batman image released earlier this week, this one is a full-body shot of the DC comics character. Honestly, she looks more like an Amazon warrior princess than Wonder Woman. Very Dark Knight-ish. The film also stars Henry Cavill, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher and Laurence Fishburne.

HORNS Trailer: Daniel Radcliffe Delivers Demonic Performance

The first trailer for the fantasy thriller "Horns" has been released. Adapted from Joe Hill's novel and directed by Alexandre Aja ("Piranha 3D "), the film stars Daniel Radcliffe ("The Woman in Black") as a young man who wakes up with a pair of demonic horns on his head after his girlfriend is raped and killed. Max Minghella, James Remar, Sabrina Carpenter, Joe Anderson and Kelli Garner also star.

"Horns" can be seen in theaters and on VOD this Halloween.

5 New HERCULES Clips Starring Dwayne Johnson

Five new clips have been released for Brett Ratner's fantasy actioner "Hercules". Based on Radical Comics' Hercules by Steve Moore, the film stars Dwayne Johnson as the legendary hero. So far, the reviews are surprisingly okay, not amazingly positive, but rather decent for this kind of epic spectacle. Definitely much better than "The Legend of Hercules". The cast also features Joseph Fiennes, John Hurt, Ian McShane, Joe Anderson, Peter Mullan and Rufus Sewell.

"Hercules" opens in theaters on July 25th (3D).

New BATMAN V SUPERMAN Image Features Ben Affleck as Batman

Warner Bros. has released a new image for Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". This time we get an image of Batman, played by Ben Affleck, but it's a close-up, so don't expect to get any big details. We do, however, get a great shot of Affleck's chin. The studio also released a note about the production which contains some interesting details. You can read that after the jump. The film also stars Henry Cavill, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher and Laurence Fishburne.

FIFTY SHADES OF GREY Trailer: Erotic Romance Starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan

The first official trailer for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" adaptation has been released. The film stars Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, a student who becomes involved in a steamy S&M relationship with tormented billionaire Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan). Sam Taylor-Johnson directs from a script by Kelly Marcel ("Saving Mr. Banks") and the film also stars Eloise Mumford, Jennifer Ehle, Marcia Gay Harden, Luke Grimes and Callum Keith Rennie.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" opens in theaters on February 14, 2015.

Anthony Hopkins and Evan Rachel Wood Join WESTWORLD Series for HBO

Oscar-winner Anthony Hopkins ("Thor") and Golden Globe nominee Evan Rachel Wood ("Mildred Pierce") have joined the cast of HBO's upcoming television series remake/adaptation of Michael Crichton's "Westworld". The original 1973 sci-fi classic starred Yul Brynner as a malfunctioning robot cowboy in a futuristic Wild West-themed adult amusement park.

The series is being developed by J.J. Abrams ("Lost") and Jonathan Nolan ("Person of Interest"). The story of the updated version has been described as "a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin."

Hopkins will stars as "Dr. Ford, the uncompromising creator of the park and conductor of the creations inside it, and he views the robots as utterly inhuman, little more than livestock. In the wider context of the show, he’s looking like a complex kind of ‘big bad’."

Rachel Wood will play "Dolores is created to be a sassy farm girl; the beautiful girl next door type who has no idea that the life she’s living is a lie. She’s essentially a slave to the guests of the park but has no idea [of her true nature.]"

James Marsden is also in talks to join the cast of "Westworld" as "Flood, your classic Western hero. He’s all about adventure and romance; his two pursuits in life are the open plains and, as I’m sure you guessed, the lovely Dolores Abernathy."

THE IMITATION GAME Trailer: Benedict Cumberbatch Stars As Alan Turing

The first trailer for the Alan Turing biopic "The Imitation Game" has been released. Benedict Cumberbatch ("Sherlock") stars as Turing, mathematician, logician and cryptologist, who during World War II succeeded in cracking Germany's famous "Enigma" code, thus turning the tide of the war in favor of the Allies. The film focuses on this historical breakthrough, and it also stars Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode, Charles Dance, Mark Strong, Rory Kinnear and Allen Leech.

"The Imitation Game" opens in theaters on November 21st in the US and November 14th in the UK.

New THE NOVEMBER MAN Trailer and Poster Starring Pierce Brosnan and Olga Kurylenko

A new trailer and poster have been released for the action thriller "The November Man". Directed by Roger Donaldson ("The Bank Job"), the film stars Pierce Brosnan ("Goldeneye") as a highly trained ex-CIA agent who gets pulled back into the spy game to protect a witness, played by Olga Kurylenko ("Quantum of Solace"). The assignment turns him into a target of his former pupil (Luke Bracey). The cast also features Will Patton, Patrick Kennedy and Eliza Taylor.
