The Disney+ series will focus on a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years, a storyline featured in Brian Michael Bendis' 2008 crossover comics of the same name. Ben Mendelsohn will be reprising his role as Talos from "Captain Marvel". Emilia Clarke, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Olivia Colman, Christopher McDonald and Killian Scott also star.
Smulders recenly starred as conservative commentator Ann Coulter on FX's "Impeachment: American Crime Story", and also starred in ABC's "Stumptown".
Other Marvel series developed for Disney+ include "Hawkeye", "Ms Marvel", "She-Hulk", "Moon Knight", "Ironheart", "Armor Wars", "Echo", "Agatha: House of Harkness" and new seasons of "What If..." and "Loki".
