The six-episode half-hour series follows the Chair of an English department at a major university, who will be played by Oh. The cast also includes Mark Duplass ("Transparent") in an unspecified role. Annie Julia-Wyman co-wrote the pilot.
Oh currently stars in the BBC America series "Killing Eve", and is set to star in the upcoming Amazon animated series "Invincible".
Peet is mostly known for her work as an actress, recently starring in the Amazon series "The Romanoffs", but she has also written multiple plays including "The Commons of Pensacola" and "Our Very Own Carlin McCullough". She is attached to star in the upcoming HBO series "The Gilded Age" and recently finished work on the second season of "Dirty John".
