"Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt is set to star in and executive produce the conspiracy thriller series "Terminal List" based on the novel of the same name by Jack Carr, a former Navy SEAL and special ops team leader.
The show will be directed by Antoine Fuqua ("Training Day"), who will also executive produce. David Digilio, "Eight Below" scribe and creator of the ABC series "Traveler" will write and executive produce the series.
The story, which combines elevated action with deep psychological questions about the cost of pushing our nation's highest trained operators too far, follows Reece (Pratt) after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Reece returns home with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him.
Pratt and Fuqua previously worked together on "The Magnificent Seven" remake, which Fuqua directed. Pratt has a long list of projects set up. He has finished work on the sci-fi actioner "The Tomorrow War" directed by Chris McKay, and the film will be released this year. In 2020 he can also be heard in the Pixar film "Onward". In 2021 he can be seen in the third installments of "Jurassic World" and "Guardians of the Galaxy". He is also attached to the comic book adaptation "Cowboy Ninja Viking".
