Disney scored a third consecutive #1 weekend at the box-office with "Frozen II", which is now very close to the billion mark. Most of the other films performed well this weekend, without any spectacular standouts. Well, you could say one film stood out, but not in a good way. STX's release of the long-delayed "Playmobil" movie bombed in a big way.

Find out more about the weekend box-office after the jump.

"Frozen II" dippeed 60% this weekend, grossing $34.6 million for a domestic total of $337.5 million. Overseas it added another $90.2 million, which brings its international tally to $582.1 million. With a worldwide cume of $919.6 million, the film is about one week away from crossing the $1 billion milestone.

In second place we find Rian Johnson's ensemble murder mystery "Knives Out" with $14.1 million and a 47% drop. The film has grossed a total of $63.4 million domestically in just 11 days. This weekend the film delivered $18.7 million from international markets for a $60.6 million overseas total.

The biopic "Ford v Ferrari" finished in third place with $6.5 million, virtually tied with the romantic drama "Queen & Slim" at #5, as the gap between the two films is only $7000. The former's domestic tally has reached $91.1 million in its fourth week in theaters, and with $8.3 million overseas this weekend, its international earnings have reached $76.5 million. The latter has grossed a total of $26.8 million in 11 days.

The Top 5 is rounded out by the Mister Rogers biopic "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhoo" starring  Tom Hanks, which grossed $5.2 million over the weekend. The film's domestic total has reached $43.1 million in 16 days, against a $25 million budget.

The true story legal drama "Dark Waters" expanded nationwide this weekend and finished in sixth place with $4.1 million from 2,012 theaters, which isn't exactly the spectacular performance Focus was expecting.

This week's only new wide release, the animated film "Playmobil: The Movie" tanked with $660,000 over the weekend from 2,337 theaters, which is the third worst debut ever for a film opening in 2,000 or more locations. The film was expected to be released in 2017, but when Global Road went bankrupt, it was eventually acquired by STX, and was finally given a chance to fade into oblivion in 2019.
