The second season of the Netflix original sitcom "Alexa & Katie" has premiered on December 26, 2018. Created by "Hannah Montana" writer Heather Wordham, the series stars Paris Berelc and Isabel May as lifelong best friends Alexa and Katie, who are eagerly anticipating the start of their freshman year of high school when they are confronted with a crisis as Alexa discovers that she is ill and starts undergoing treatment for cancer. The cast also includes Jolie Jenkins, Emery Kelly, Eddie Shin, Finn Carr and Tiffani Thiessen.
