The second season of the dramedy series "God Friended Me" has premiered on September 29, 2019 on CBS. Created by Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt, the show chronicles the life of Miles Finer (Brandon Micheal Hall), an outspoken atheist and podcaster, who is sent a friend request on Facebook by an account named "God".

The cast also includes Violett Beane, Suraj Sharma, Joe Morton, Lavicia Leslie and Erica Gimpel. In the second season, Miles and Rakesh (Sharma) help Joy (Jessica Lu) locate the soldier suggested as a friend by the God account, while Cara (Beane) remains in Paris.
