The dramedy series "Transparent" ended on September 27, 2019 with a two-hour long musical finale. The Amazon series was created by Jill Soloway and it followed and L.A. family with serious boundary issues whose past and future unravel when the father of the family, Morton Pfefferman (Jeffrey Tambor), opens up about identifying as a woman, and becomes Maura.

Tambor was fired from the show last year following allegations of sexual harrassment, which ultimately forced the transformation of the show's fifth season into a feature-length finale. The cast also includes Amy Landecker, Jay Duplass, Gaby Hoffmann and Judith Light.
