To be fair, that title should sound more like "possible menace", since there's not really that much footage to suggest aggression, but I've lived through enough sci-fi to suspect otherwise.
The new "Elite: Dangerous" trailer was unveiled at PAX East 2017 and hints that the game's mysterious Thargoid alien race may finally make a more substantial appearance. First sightings within the game were reported in January, but were largely uneventful (recorded evidence of the first contact can be found after the jump).
