Netflix has released the first official trailer for the crime drama "Small Crimes".
The film is directed by E.L. Katz ("Cheap Thrills") based on the novel by David Zeltserman, and it star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau ("Game of Thrones") as a disgraced former cop who is released from prison after serving time for the attempted murder of a District Attorney. His quest for redemption turns out to be more difficult than he initially thought when he becomes trapped in the mess he left behind — in the cross fire between a crooked sheriff, the vengeful DA, and a mafia kingpin who knows too much.
The cast also includes Macon Blair, Molly Parker, Robert Forster, Gary Cole, Jacki Weaver and Pat Healy.
"Small Crimes" will premiere worldwide April 28th via Netflix.

Official Synopsis
"After serving time for the attempted murder of a District Attorney, disgraced former cop Joe Denton (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) returns home looking for redemption. An embarrassment to his parents and abandoned by his ex-wife, it seems as if things can’t get much worse. But then Joe finds himself trapped in the mess he left behind-in the cross fire between a crooked sheriff, the vengeful DA, and a mafia kingpin who knows too much."
