After the huge success of "Gone Girl", David Fincher, Ben Affleck and author Gillian Flynn will join forces once again for a remake of the Hitchcock's 1951 classic "Strangers on a Train" (an adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's novel) which will be simply titled "Strangers". Flynn is in talks to pen the script, Fincher will direct and Affleck will star in the lead as a movie star in the midst of an Oscar campaign whose private plane breaks down and is given a ride to L.A. on another plane by a wealthy stranger. Affleck is currently preparing for his next directorial effort "Live By Night" and the "Justice League" movie. Plus, there are rumors floating around that Affleck will also appear in "Suicide Squad" as Batman and will possibly get a solo film for the superhero if all goes well with "Batman V. Superman".
