Scarlett Johansson is now officially set to star in the anime adaptation "Ghost in the Shell". The actress signed on for the lead role after Margot Robbie was initially approached for the job, but the negotiations fell through. Although it was reported that Johansson was somewhat hesitant to join the action flick, she is now officially on board. Based on the Japanese anime of the same name, the film will follow the exploits of a member of a covert ops unit of the Japanese National Public Safety Commission that specializes in fighting technology-related crime. Rupert Sanders ("Snow White and the Huntsman") is set to direct from a script by Bill Wheeler. Johansson can be seen this year in "Avengers: Age of Ultron", and heard as Kaa in Jon Favreau's "The Jungle Book". She is also set to star in the Coen brothers' "Hail, Caesar !".
