Jennifer Lawrence ("The Hunger Games") is set to reteam with "Mockingjay" and "Catching Fire" director Francis Lawrence for a film titled "The Dive", a biopic which tells the tragic true story of Francisco "Pipin" Ferraras and his wife Audrey Mestre. The two competed to travel as deep as possible underwater on a single breath of air, a practice known as "freediving". Lawrence will play Mestre, who died during an attempt to beat her own world record of 557.7 feet. Ferraras later attempted to dive to the same depth as a tribute to his late wife and the whole thing was filmed by James Cameron. Now Cameron is producing the biopic which is written by Dana Stevens ("Safe Haven").
