"The Mandalorian" is the first ever live-action series set in the "Star Wars" universe. Created by Jon Favreau and co-written by Favreau, Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa and Chris Yost, the series is set five years after the events of "Return of the Jedi", before the emergence of the First Order, and it follows a Mandalorian bounty hunter in the outer reaches of the galaxy, far from the authority of the New Republic.

The cast features Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, Nick Nolte, Carl Weathers, Emily Swallow, Werner Herzog, Ming-Na Wen, Mark Boone Jr. and Bill Burr.

"The Mandalorian" premiered on November 12, 2019 on Disney+.
