The Disney+ film "Lady and the Tramp" is a live-action adaptation of Walt Disney's 1955 animated classic of the same name, which in turn was based on the Cosmopolitan magazine story "Happy Dan, The Cynical Dog" by Ward Greene. This is the first Disney remake to not receive a theatrical release.

Directed by Charlie Bean ("The Lego Ninjago Movie") from a script by Andrew Bujalski ("Support the Girls") and Kari Granlund, the film features the voices of Tessa Thompson, Justin Theroux, Sam Elliott, Janelle Monae, Benedict Wong and Clancy Brown. It also features live-action performances from Thomas Mann, Kiersey Clemons, F. Murray Abraham and Ken Jeong.

"Lady and the Tramp" premiered on November 12, 2019 on Disney+.
