"Back to Life" is a British dramedy series created, co-written by and starring Daisy Haggard. Directed by Christopher Sweeney, the show follows Miri Matteson (Haggard), who has just returned home to Hythe, Kent after serving an 18-year jail sentence. As Miri attempts to rebuild her life, she forms a friendship with Billy (Adeel Akhtar), who cares for the elderly woman next door. The cast also includes Geraldine James, Richard Durden and Jo Martin.

"Back to Life" premiered on April 15, 2019 on BBC Three in the U.K. and on November 10, 2019 on Showtime.
