The fourth and final season of the darkly comic supernatural drama series "Preacher" has premiered on August 4, 2019 on AMC. Created by Sam Catlin, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg based on the comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, the show stars Dominic Cooper as a preacher who gains supernatural abilities and goes on a quest to find God, with the help of a vice-loving vampire Joseph Gilgun and his hell-raising ex-girlfriend (Ruth Negga).
