Comic-Con Trailers: THE WITCHER, 21 BRIDGES, WATCHMEN, SNOWPIERCER and More

New trailers have been unveiled at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con for:
  • The upcoming Netflix fantasy horror series "The Witcher", based on the best-selling novel series by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, which also inspired a popular role-playing video game franchise. The show is executive produced by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich ("Daredevil", "The Umbrella Academy"), who also serves as showrunner, and the cast features Henry Cavill, Freya Allan, Jodhi May, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson, Adam Levy, Anya Chalotra and MyAnna Buring.
  • The suspenseful action thriller "21 Bridges" starring Chadwick Boseman ("Black Panther"), Stephan James ("If Beale Street Could Tak"), Taylor Kitsch ("Waco"), JK Simmons ("Spider-Man") and Sienna Miller ("American Sniper"). The film is directed by TV helmer Brian Kirk ("Game of Thrones") and executive produced by Marvel vetarans Anthony and Joe Russo ("Avengers: Endgame").
  • The CBS All Access streaming series "Star Trek: Picard". Iconic 79-year-old actor Patrick Stewart returns as the titular Starfleet commander, who is pulled out of retirement for new adventures.
  • HBO's superhero series "Watchmen", a new adaptation, and modern-day reimagining, of Alan Moore's classic 1986 graphic novel of the same name. The show hails from "The Leftovers" creator/writer Damon Lindelof, and it stars Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Jean Smart, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Tim Blake Nelson, and Louis Gossett Jr.
  • The sci-fi thriller series "Snowpiercer" based on the 2013 movie of the same name from South Korean filmmaker Bong Joon Ho, which in turn is based on a French graphic novel. The cast includes Daveed Diggs, Jennifer Connelly, Annalise Basso, Mickey Sumner, Steven Ogg, Timothy V. Murphy and Sheila Vand.
  • HBO's upcoming fantasy series "His Dark Materials" based on Philip Pullman's best-selling novels of the same name. The first season is based on the first book in the trilogy, titled "Northern Lights", which was previously adapted into the 2007 film "The Golden Compass". The show stars Dafne Keen ("Logan"), James McAvoy, Ruth Wilson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Clarke Peters, Lewin Lloyd, Ruta Gedmintas, Lucian Msamati and Anne-Marie Duff.
  • "The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance", the prequel series to Jim Henson's 1982 puppet fantasy film . The series features the voices of Taron Egerton ("Rocketman"), Anya Taylor-Joy ("Split"), Nathalie Emmanuel ("Game of Thrones"), Simon Pegg, Caitriona Balfe, Helena Bonham Carter, Natalie Dormer, Mark Hamill, Jason Isaacs, Toby Jones, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Mark Strong, Alicia Vikander and more.
  • The tenth season of AMC's zombie horror series "The Walking Dead".
  • The fifth season of AMC's TWD spinoff series "Fear the Walking Dead".
  • The new Amazon original fantasy series "Carnival Row" starring Orlando Bloom ("Pirates of the Caribbean") and Cara Delevingne ("Suicide Squad"). The show is executive produced by "The 4400" creator Rene Echevarria and "Pacific Rim" writer Travis Beacham.
  • "The Terror: Infamy", the new season of AMC's historical horror anthology series.
  • The third season of HBO's popular sci-fi series "Westworld" inspired by Michael Crichton's cult film of the same name.
  • The fourth and final season of AMC's darkly comic supernatural-themed series "Preacher" based on the cult 1990s comic book series of the same name by writer Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillon.
