The 2019 series "Four Weddings and a Funeral" is a reimagining of the 1994 British film of the same name directed by Mike Newell from a script by Richard Curtis. Created by Mindy Kaling and Matt Warburton, the show follows four American friends who reunite for a fabulous London wedding, but following a bombshell event their lives are thrown into turmoil. What follows is a tumultuous year of romance and heartbreak. The cast features Nathalie Emmanuel, Nikesh Patek, Rebecca Rittenhouse, John Paul Reynolds, Brandon Mychal Smith and Zoe Boyle.

"Four Weddings and a Funeral" premiered on July 31, 2019 on Hulu.

"Maya, the young communications director for a New York senatorial campaign, receives a wedding invitation from her college schoolmate now living in London. She leaves her professional and personal life behind, in favor of traveling to England and reconnecting with old friends and ends up in the midst of their personal crises. Relationships are forged and broken, political scandals exposed, London social life lampooned, love affairs ignited and doused, and of course there are four weddings… and a funeral."
