Directed by Joe Lynch ("Mayhem", "Everly") from a script by Adam G. Simon ("Man Down"), the 2019 action film "Point Blank" is a remake of the 2010 French film of the same name.

Anthony Mackie stars as Paul, an ER nurse who is forced to team up with a badly injured career criminal and murder suspect (Frank Grillo), in order to save his kidnapped pregnant wife. The film also stars Marcia Gay Harden, Teyonah Parris, Boris McGiver, Christian Cooke and Markice Moore. Grillo and "The Grey" filmmaker Joe Carnahan served as producers.

"Point Blank" was released on July 12, 2019 via Netflix.
