"Wine Country" is a comedy produced and directed by SNL alum Amy Poehler in her feature film directorial debut. The screenplay was written by Emily Spivey ("Parks and Recreation") and Liz Cackowski ("The Last Man on Earth").

The film tells the story of a group of longtime girlfriends who take a trip to Napa for the weekend to celebrate their friend's 50th birthday, but as the alcohol flows, the relaxing outing turns into a nightmare as tensions from the past boil over.

The cast features Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer, Paula Pell, Emily Spivey, Cherry Jones, Jason Schwartzman and Tina Fey.

"Wine Country" was released in select theaters on May 8, 2019 and digitally on May 10, 2019 by Netflix.

Workaholic Catherine (Ana Gasteyer), post-op Val (Paula Pell), homebody Jenny (Emily Spivey), and weary mom Naomi (Maya Rudolph) are equally sold on the chance to relax and reconnect.
