"Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile" is a crime biopic directed by documentary filmmaker Joe Berlinger ("Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes") from a script by Michael Werwiwe ("Lost Girls") based on the memoir "The Phantom Prince: My Life with Ted Bundy" by Elizabeth Kendall.

The film tells the story of serial killer Ted Bundy (Zac Efron) through the point of view of his unsuspecting girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer (Lily Collins), who for years refused to acknowledge that her boyfriend was a guilty of committing several heinous crimes against women. The film also stars Kaya Scodelario, John Malkovich, Jeffrey Donovan, Angela Sarafyan, Dylan Baker, Jim Parsons, Brian Gerarghty and Haley Joel Osment.

"Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile" premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival and was released on May 3 by Netflix in the U.S. and Sky Cinema in the U.K.
