"Mrs Wilson" is a British miniseries created by and starring Ruth Wilson ("The Affair"), based on the life of her real-life grandmother. The series is set in 1936 and it tells the story of Alison Wilson, a grieving widow who discovers that her seemingly ideal husband lived a mysterious secret life. The cast also includes Iain Glen, Anupam Kher, Patrick Kennedy, Fiona Shaw and Keeley Hawes.

"Mrs Wilson" premiered on BBC One in the U.K. on November 27, 2018, and in the U.S. on PBS on March 31, 2019.

"Set in 1940s and 1960s London and 1930s India, the series follows Alison Wilson, who thinks she is happily married until her husband, Alec, dies and a woman turns up on the doorstep claiming that she is the real Mrs. Wilson. Alison is determined to prove the validity of her own marriage -- and Alec's love for her -- but is instead led into a world of disturbing secrets."
