"The Spanish Princess" is a new historical drama series based on the novels "The Constant Princess" and "The King's Curse" by Philippa Gregory. This is the third series based on Gregory's Tudor dynasty novels.

The show stars Charlotte Hope ("The Nun", "Game of Thrones") as Catherine of Aragon, the teenaged princess of Spain who was promised the English throne since she was a child. She arrives in England and becomes Princess of Wales, but when her husband Prince Arthur dies suddenly, she seeks to solidify her position with her husband's brother, Prince Harry (Ruairi O'Connor), the future King Henry VIII.

The cast also includes Angus Imrie, Harriet Walter, Laura Carmichael, Georgie Henley, Elliot Cowan and Aaron Cobham.

"The Spanish Princess" premiered on May 5, 2019 on Starz.
