The second season of the drama series "The Chi" has premiered on April 7, 2019 on Showtime. Created by Lena Waithe, the show follows the lives of Emmett (Jacob Latimore), Brandon (Jason Mitchell), Ronnie (Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine) and Kevin (Alex R. Hibbert) in the South Side neighborhood of Chicago after a fateful turn of events sends shock waves through the community but also connects them in unexpected ways. The cast also includes Yolonda Ross, Tiffany Boone, Armando Riesco, Byron Bowers and Sonja Sohn.
