"Holmes & Watson" is a comedy written and directed by "Tropic Thunder" scribe Etan Cohen, based on the characters Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

The film stars Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly as the titular protagonists, who must use their incredible deductive minds to solve the mystery behind a threat at Buckingham Palace. The cast also includes Rebecca Hall, Ralph Fiennes, Kelly Macdonald, Steve Coogan, Rob Brydon, Lauren Lapkus, Pam Ferris and Hugh Laurie.

"Holmes & Watson" opened in theaters on December 25, 2018 and received universally negative reviews from critics. The consensus seems to be that this is one of the worst films of 2018. The film grossed $6.4 million on the first day and $3.5 million on its second.
