The winners of the 86th annual Emmy Awards have been announced, and for the most part, everyone was happy with how the show went down. Apart from the complete snubbing of "Fargo" Season 2, pretty much everyone who deserved it, got it.
The big winner is "The People v. O.J. Simpson" with a total of 7 Emmys, including Outstanding Limited Series and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series (Sarah Paulson). The miniseries only lost the Directing for a Limited Series award to Susanna Biers for her work on "The Night Manager"
"Game of Thrones" also cleaned up with 5 wins, including Outstanding Drama Series, Writing and Directing. HBO had and equally great night in the comedy category where "Veep" won Outstanding Comedy Series and Lead Actress (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).
Other winnning shows includes "Transparent", "Mr. Robot", "Orphan Black", "Master of None", "Sherlock: The Abominable Bride", "Baskets", "Bloodline", "American Crime" and "Downton Abbey".
